Hey there! Thank you for visiting my Blog. My name is Ole, I'm 28 and currently living in Hamburg, Germany.
When I was 6 years old I fell in love ... with a Nintendo Entertainment System. Good friends lived next door and they had gotten one. I was instantly hooked and spend hours and hours at my friends house. In fact it were so many hours that my parents called after a few days to tell me they had bought a NES only to get me back home.
From that day on Video Games became more or less the center of my life. My favorites were RPGs (Final Fantasy VII), Fighting Games (Street Fighter) and Nintendo stuff in general. I spent hundreds of hours playing and there was nothing more important to me. If I got a new game and there was a test the next day I would play the game and accept the bad mark.
I will not complain about that. I had a good time. But when you get older you start to have other goals than just reaching the next level in an RPG or crawling through just one more dungeon. And that's when you realize that all the time you put into video games is time you haven't put into other stuff like socializing, some hobbies that could actually help you start some type of career or just plain learning.
